Biscornu

I made a thing.

has a neglected floss stitch along this month using the pattern on the left and two other similar patterns. I decided I would join in while I was in between being able to go to the store for my next supplies.

I was going to make a potpourri pillow or something similar but then I thought I would try my hand at a Biscornu which the journal poster had mentioned (and I needed a pin cushion anyway). It was definitely quite fun, though just as I was finishing I couldn’t find our wool that we had from when our sheep first got shorn years ago. Mum thinks she got rid of it though cause it was taking up space and we weren’t using it. We managed to find some old rabbit fur from when we had a long haired rabbit years ago called Brush Me so I stuffed it with that.

I used a couple of old anchor brand threads that my mum had left over from years ago when she used to cross stitch. I found the buttons at an op shop and decided they would suit.
